The company is known for its focus on delivering innovative solutions and maintaining a results-driven environment.Job DescriptionOPERATIONAL SUPPORT· Provide a full support service to resolve operational incidents on all in scope applications, portals, platforms etc. globally. This will include urgent management of High Priority Incidents in line with the Service Desk procedures.· Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner, following standard procedure to manage when escalations occur with appropriate teams or individuals.SOLUTION DESIGN· Maintain operational well designed, documented solutions including, but not restricted to, Microsoft Dynamics, Grip, Apriso, GLIMS, Quintiq.· Work with colleagues and business partners to manage issues and contribute towards new solutions to augment and support ERP, manufacturing systems and other platforms.· Advise on how to conduct processes across solutions.· Maintain all platforms in terms of updates, perform periodic audits and regular code releases in accordance with the change management processes, minimising downtime.DEPLOYMENT & REPORTING· Assume ownership of incidents and service requests logged by end-users.· Provide support for deployment of new/updated applications during deployments working with the deployment team.· Perform maintenance and periodic updates for operational systems, known as "Code Cut" in accordance with the change management processes.· Maintain a dialogue with the management team so issues/problems can be reported and summary advice can be passed on.ANALYSIS· Assist in the delivery of new solutions and enhancements into a production state, participating in testing and validation where appropriate.· Ensure prompt and accurate feedback to our customer (internal or external).· Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues across the system landscape, including during setup and configuration.· Provide administrative support for solutions.
