Job Description

  • Advise clients on U.S. and global privacy laws, including compliance with frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and emerging state and federal regulations.
  • Support data breach and cybersecurity incident response efforts, including regulatory notifications and coordination with technical teams.
  • Draft and negotiate data processing agreements, privacy terms, and commercial contracts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with privacy program development and implementation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on regulatory trends, enforcement actions, and compliance best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technology, security, and governance matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology regulatory work at a respected law firm or equivalent environment.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. privacy frameworks and familiarity with global regulatory regimes.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and advisory skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with partners, clients, and cross‑disciplinary teams.
  • Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
