Job Description

  • Install and upgrade database servers and application tools, and plan system storage requirements.
  • Enroll users, maintain system security, and control user access to the database.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, and plan for backup and recovery of information.
  • Ensure compliance with database vendor license agreements and manage data replication.
  • Contact the database vendor for technical support, generate reports as needed, and act as a liaison with users.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3 -5 years of experience in IT and database administration, with availability for on-call emergencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and SQL, with knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI being a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Innovative, flexible, and skilled in resource management, with strong team collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills, with a relevant degree.
