About Our Client

Our client is an American international law firm with approximately 1,100 attorneys, headquartered in New York City looking for a DEI Coordinator to join their team.

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees can thrive
  • Provide operational support to leaders, helping them organize, plan, execute, and evaluate their programs and initiatives
  • Working with the appropriate stakeholders, coordinate budget needs and expectations, logistics, and communications to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • The DEI Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing recruiting events that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within Client
  • The role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of DEI principles, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure successful event execution

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and with high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks effectively and work well in a high-pressure environment, with a wide range of professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and client service-oriented environment
  • Availability to work overtime, as needed
