Description

The Demand Planner will have the ability to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Playing a key role in creating an unbiased, accurate demand (Forecast) plan that is critical for planning material flow throughout the supply chain
• Implement monthly sales and operations planning process with key customers
• Track and enable S&OP to achieve weekly and monthly forecast accuracy and related forecast metrics
• Applying market intelligence to the demand plan. Market intelligence may come from sales, marketing, key accounts, and other sources
• Leveraging forecast performance metric tools to measure accuracy, assess the quality and frequency of overrides, assess forecast bias, and identify and address the largest sources of forecast error
• Participating in and possibly facilitating the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Review meetings by business portfolio. This process focuses on the alignment between the demand plan and the business plan (OP/QOR)
• Maximizing the effectiveness of the statistical forecast by adjusting/ cleansing historical demand and determining appropriate levels of aggregation for calculating the statistical forecast
