About Our Client

A general contractor with over 60 years in construction space. With over 200 employees nation-wide, they are averaging over $300M in annual revenue currently. They pride themselves on being a forward-thinking and progressive company, supporting their employees and providing a level of flexibility unmatched in the industry. They have been able to not only secure a full pipeline for 2022 but 2023 as well and are winning more work. Because of their growth and projects that are currently slated, they are adding leaders in their project management department. Their work spans several sectors including: Commercial, Government, Light Industrial, Healthcare, and Multifamily. The project that this role will lead to start will be a $70M healthcare facility. This role will have the option to work completely remote or from one of their several offices across the United States.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders on the project
  • Effectively communicate with architects, designers, clients, internal team, and field crew to ensure a cohesive vision for the project
  • Partner with the team from design and estimating phase through completion and closeout of the project
  • Analyze potential risks for the project ahead of time to avoid delays and changes later in the process
  • Lead bid proposal meetings, update meetings, negotiations, and job site walkthroughs
  • Participate in estimating phase by soliciting bids from subcontractors
  • Establish and maintain project safety standards through collaboration with the Superintendent

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction space in a project manager role
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
  • Experience in ground up healthcare construction
  • Experience leading projects over $50M in scope is a big plus
  • Comprehensive project knowledge from design through closeout
  • Capable of operating remotely unless in the office
  • Travel 1-2 times per month at most
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Structured and organized individual
  • Project management and estimating software experience
