About Our Client

The Development Associate will join a well established firm that has a clean energy division focusing solely on utility scale projects. The portfolio consists of both solar + storage projects across ERCOT, MISO and SPP.

Job Description

  • Assist with Site Screening, selection and feasibility assessment
  • Assist with managing the project development process from site identification to "ready to build stage"
  • Conduct land, market, regulatory, and other project-related research
  • Assist with managing the projects through land acquisition, environment diligence, engineering design, permitting/entitlements , and interconnection/transmission service requests
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
  • Creation and Management of an overall project strategy plan
  • Prepare project budget and cash flow projection, management, and tracking

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 1-3 years experience within the renewable industry
  • Exposure to utility-scale solar or wind projects but other project types would be considered
  • Relationship-oriented
  • Self-starter
  • Solar and BESS utility scale project experience preferred
  • Dedicated and passionate about the renewable industry
