You'll work alongside a passionate team to identify, evaluate, and drive forward innovative mixed-use and redevelopment projects from concept to execution. In this role, you will:Collaborate with the development and research team to source and analyze promising projects in Austin's thriving market.Build relationships with top brokers, capital partners, and retailers to bring bold ideas to life.Create detailed financial models, cash flow analyses, and project pro formas using Argus and Excel to assess feasibility and maximize returns.Guide projects through due diligence, zoning, budgeting, and approvals, working closely with consultants, city officials, and internal teams.Monitor development progress, coordinate contracts, review invoices, and prepare lender draw requests to keep projects on track.Assist in preparing polished presentations for investors and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, precision, and strategic messaging.Help manage internal processes, reporting, and document control, ensuring compliance and efficiency every step of the way.Work cross-functionally with Asset Management, Construction, Accounting, Leasing, and Marketing to bring projects full-circle.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Our ideal candidate brings both passion and precision to every project. You'll thrive in this role if you have:A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or a related discipline (advanced knowledge preferred).5+ years of industry experience, ideally with a focus in real estate development or mixed-use projects.Solid knowledge of the Austin, DFW, and Houston real estate markets, including key players and trends.Familiarity with mixed-use underwriting - a plus, but not a must.A working understanding of zoning regulations, and ability to navigate civil and architectural design documents.Proven analytical skills to collect, manage, and assess complex project data with confidence.The initiative to take ownership of your work and see projects through from concept to completion.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional organizational and time management abilities in fast-paced environments.The ability to manage multiple moving parts and maintain poise under pressure.A creative and flexible mindset with a sharp technical aptitude.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Argus for financial modeling.Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a bonus.Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Sage is preferred.What's on OfferIn return my client are offering a fantastic benefits package that includes market leading salary, bonus and additional benefits.
