Director of Accounting

• 
  
  Oversee all accounting activities for the U.S. division, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and internal accounting policies
• 
  
  Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to Group Finance
• 
  
  Act as the primary U.S. accounting lead for external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors
• 
  
  Own U.S. local and state tax filings, partnering with external advisors as needed
• 
  
  Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure alignment with group-wide accounting standards
• 
  
  Serve as a key stakeholder in the ongoing development and optimization of NetSuite ERP
• 
  
  Drive initiatives to streamline reporting, improve processes, and increase efficiency across the U.S. accounting function
• 
  
  Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across finance and operations teams in the U.S.
• 
  
  Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership
• 
  
  Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including performance management and career development planningTeam Leadership
