With more than 30 licensed and owned brands, including some of the most sought-after names in global fashion, their success is driven by their team's entrepreneurial spirit and relationships across the industry.Job DescriptionEnsure benefit programs align with the organizations' strategic objectives.Work with brokers and advisors to continuously evaluate market trends and best practices to lead the development/implementation of new initiatives to ensure benefit offerings remain market-competitive, financially sound, and legally compliant.Present strategic enhancements and modification recommendations for consideration.Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees on all benefit plans and programs.Ensure legal compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, DOL, 5500 reporting, and all other regulations required by federal and state laws.Manage vendor relationships to ensure excellent service and support.Oversee and lead the annual open enrollment and related activities or communications.Partner with cross functional team members in Payroll, Finance and Legal to manage and build out new plans or programs.Serve as the point of contact for employees, HR, and Payroll throughout the leave management process.Manage Workers' Compensation and OSHA claims and reporting.Serve as subject matter expert for all leave of absence administration while guiding the Benefits team on all leave-of-absence, disability, and workers comp paperwork: medical, disability and FMLA, PFL, etc.Handle escalated benefit inquiries for resolution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
