Their Discovery Services division provides comprehensive solutions in medicinal chemistry, biology, DMPK, and computational chemistry to support early-stage drug discovery.Job DescriptionBusiness Development & Sales:Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in drug discovery services.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals.Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.Client Relationship Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with biotech and pharma decision-makers in discovery and preclinical R&D.Act as a trusted partner to clients, aligning services with their discovery and preclinical research needs.Market Intelligence & Strategic Growth:Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in drug discovery.Provide market insights to internal teams to support service development and business strategy.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with scientific and operational teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop compelling sales materials and proposals.Travel & Networking:Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.Travel within the U.S. (approximately 25-50%) for client meetings and industry events.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
