Job Description

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with outlined division goals and market trends.
    • Identify and prioritize target markets and key accounts within the power generation, data centers, and oil & gas sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, procurement managers, and decision-makers.
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Research:
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
    • Conduct market research to gather insights into industry needs, pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation:
    • Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, including technical and commercial aspects, tailored to client requirements.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals and achieve revenue targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the engineering, product development, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
    • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to enhance brand presence and promote renewable energy solutions.
  • Revenue Growth and Reporting:
    • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
    • Monitor and report on business development metrics, sales performance, and market feedback.
  • Industry Representation:

    • Serve as the representative for the Industrial Division at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our solutions.
    • Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and advancements to ensure compliance and competitive edge.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience within the renewable energy sector, specifically targeting power generation, data centers, and oil & gas.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships and large-scale projects.
  • Strong management experience with a history of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and across various departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
