This is a senior, leadership‑focused role reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for people, process and quality across a diverse portfolio of high‑end homes.

My client is an established, family‑led luxury residential construction firm with over four decades of reputation in New England. They deliver architecturally significant custom homes, complex renovations and historic restorations, supported by an integrated model that includes in‑house millwork and long‑term home management services. The business operates at scale (tens of millions in revenue), maintains an exceptionally strong backlog, and is known for discretion, craftsmanship and a white‑glove client experience.

Job Description

  • Provide overall leadership to a team of 4 Project Managers and 4 Assistant Project Managers, with future oversight of field staff
  • Set standards for project delivery, quality control, scheduling and client experience across luxury residential builds ($5M+ equivalent)
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical, staffing or client‑facing matters
  • Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to align construction operations with company vision and growth plans
  • Foster a collaborative, communicative and accountable culture within the PM team
  • Support continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting across projects
  • Coordinate effectively with in‑house millwork, design support and field teams to ensure seamless execution

The Successful Applicant

  • 15-20+ years of construction experience, ideally within high‑end or luxury residential environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring Project Managers and developing high‑performing teams
  • Background delivering complex, design‑driven custom homes and large‑scale renovations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; approachable, decisive and respected by peers
  • Comfort operating at a senior level with executive visibility and accountability
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard construction management software, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Willingness to be office‑based full time in Holden, Massachusetts, with occasional light site travel
