Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve corporate credit requests across leveraged and investment-grade borrowers.
  • Conduct detailed financial and capital structure analysis, assessing repayment capacity and risk factors.
  • Provide recommendations on credit terms, facility structures, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor portfolio exposure, identifying potential credit concerns and market shifts.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, risk teams, and senior leadership, to facilitate effective credit decisions.
  • Assess market conditions, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic trends impacting corporate credit portfolios.
  • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate credit approval, with a focus on leveraged and investment-grade borrowers.
  • Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, covenant structures, and credit underwriting.
  • Ability to navigate complex credit transactions and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred.

What's on Offer

$165,000-$230,000 base salary, plus bonus.
