Job Description

You will report directly into the Company President and have the opportunity to:

  • Champion safety by following and enforcing policies, reporting hazards, and actively supporting the Safety Committee.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture on the shop floor.
  • Own the development of new processes for injection, compression, and transfer molding.
  • Drive tooling design, planning, and procurement to hit customer expectations.
  • Lead new product reviews and ensure smooth production integration.
  • Oversee First Article Runs, engineer production startups, and lead production transfers.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental engineering activities and keep projects moving.
  • Mentor the team through new process development and handle workflow documentation.
  • Spearhead process improvements for better safety, quality, and faster cycle times.
  • Fuel cost-saving strategies and collaborate with suppliers on new materials and solutions.
  • Plan and execute long term planning of Company and team goals

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in an injection mold manufacturing environment
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Ability to lead a team of 3-5 Engineers
  • Experience managing multiple projects from cradle to grave
  • Long term planning skills
  • P&L experience a plus
