About Our Client

A rapidly expanding medical device company located just north of Boston, recently acquired by a larger organization with a strong foothold in the healthcare sector, is now searching for an experienced medical device leader. This leader will be instrumental in driving the company forward by enhancing manufacturing, technology, and supply chain operations to reach the next level of growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate engineering teams across three separate divisions within the engineering business
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and maintain accountability on internal projects
  • Provide hands-on leadership in engineering and project management activities during daily operations
  • Foster collaboration and communication between teams to drive efficiency and innovation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across departments
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Support professional development and performance growth of engineering staff
  • Travel occasionally, approximately once per quarter, to support business needs and stakeholder engagement

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years of progressive operations management experience in the medical device industry
  • Preferred electromechanical engineering or technical background
  • Demonstrated success in leading organizational transformation within manufacturing and operations
  • Deep expertise in materials selection, handling, and product lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards in medical device manufacturing
  • Proven ability to optimize supply chain and production processes for efficiency and scalability
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Skilled in implementing data-driven performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
