They package and distribute their products to stores and customers worldwide.Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Director of Operations for the personal care manufacturer areKey Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to safety standards.Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and growth plans.Manage production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation.Supply Chain & Logistics:Optimize the supply chain process from procurement to distribution.Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and reduce costs without compromising quality.Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.Oversee quality control processes and work closely with R&D and compliance teams.Stay updated on regulatory changes in the personal care industry and implement necessary adjustments.Continuous Improvement & Innovation:Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational performance.Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency.Team Development & Leadership:Manage, mentor, and develop a team of operations managers and staff.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Conduct performance reviews and support professional development for team members.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
