Job Description



  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the pre-construction process, including estimating, design development, budgeting, and scheduling.


  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams during early project phases to influence project scope and feasibility.


  • Manage and mentor a team of estimators, planners, and pre-construction professionals.


  • Conduct detailed risk assessments, value engineering, and constructability reviews.


  • Develop and refine pre-construction systems, tools, and best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy.


  • Support business development efforts by contributing to RFP responses, interviews, and presentations.


  • Ensure seamless handoff from pre-construction to operations for project execution.

The Successful Applicant



  • 10+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.


  • Deep knowledge of large commercial construction methods, materials, and pricing strategies.


  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.


  • Background with a Top ENR firm is a plus, but not required-what matters most is proven success and strategic thinking.


  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, and capable of guiding scalable processes and systems.


  • Proficient in pre-construction and estimating tools such as OST, Procore, Bluebeam, Timberline, etc.


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus.
