Known for delivering cutting-edge facilities, they combine deep technical expertise with a collaborative culture that empowers their teams to innovate and lead.Job DescriptionLead and oversee all preconstruction activities, including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and project planning.Develop and manage project budgets and cost models from conceptual through detailed design stages.Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to align design intent with budget and constructability goals.Oversee the estimating team, ensuring accurate quantity takeoffs, pricing, and value engineering options.Drive project strategy and risk assessment during the preconstruction phase to support informed decision-making.Establish and maintain relationships with trade partners and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable input.Lead preconstruction meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project scope, cost, and schedule strategies.Implement preconstruction best practices and process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.Partner with operations and project management teams to ensure seamless project handoff into construction.Provide executive-level reporting and forecasting on preconstruction progress, budgets, and pipeline activity.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
