APPLY NOW AND YOUR RESUME WILL BE REVIEWED WITHIN 24 HOURS!!Job DescriptionThe Director of Preconstruction will: Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and logistics planningPreconstruction Project Management personnel are expected to promote and exemplify safe work practices and ensure safety is appropriately budgeted in every projectPerform detailed quantity surveys both manually and electronicallyPossess knowledge of and ability to develop detailed pricing (expertise in one or more trades as experience grows)Develop detailed scopes of work by tradeCommunicate with and conduct review meetings with subcontractorsPerform building systems analysis and constructability reviewsPossess knowledge of cost and pricing trends and develop escalation analysisProvide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamworkCommunicate effectivelyPreconstruction skill highlights:Works through the design process with developmentUnderstands program received from architect and owner (able to estimate fill in the gaps for the incomplete design)Schematic design - can know the level of finishes, mechanical needs, details of the project to estimateDesign Development - works further on the details to create estimateConstruction Docs - creates schedule and logistical plan and can estimateIf not within budget at different times of this process - able to speak with leadership and architect.
