The Director of Quality will be instrumental in shaping C-suite strategy while also managing operations at the ground level.Job DescriptionOversee all quality operations, from quality control, engineering, continuous improvement, customer engagement, compliance, and high level strategyManage key customer accounts with OEM aerospace manufacturers and government bodiesGenerate, improve, and implement standards across 3 sites to reduce quality issues and improve the quality processMaintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP systemsImprove overall quality culture with operators, inspectors, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and middle managementDemonstrate strong business acumen in written and verbal formLead continuous improvement initiaties to reduce cost and improve efficiencyConduct hiring, firing, and performance reviewsManage department P&LHelp to develop individual and team talents through training, performance monitoring, KPIs, and real-time feedbackMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
