About Our Client

An established but high growth food ingredients provider to the B2B food production and contract manufacturing space. The client is well established food ingredients manufacturer poised for significant growth. They are a leader in the food ingredients space working with a variety of small, medium, and large food production and food contract manufacturing businesses.

Job Description

  • As Director of Sales you will work closely with C-Suite to deliver commercial activity within the food ingredients space
  • You will develop and lead the B2B sales team nationally
  • Sell a variety of food ingredients into food production and contract manufacturing businesses to enable top line growth
  • Work with project managers to ensure smooth production and delivery are met
  • Responsibilities for budget achievement; profitability metric achievement; and customer development
  • Support commercial efforts; additional close partnership will be required with supply chain and production teams to ensure a bespoke plan & approach is delivered to key accounts
  • Prospect new customers and drive revenue growth for North America business
  • Hire, train, and develop staff across sales, pricing, and sales support

The Successful Applicant

  • Personal hands-on experience managing Sales teams on a national or multi-regional level
  • Must have experience selling ingredients or chemicals into food production, or food contract manufacturers
  • Ability to lead key planning and review meetings with with customers to grow accounts
  • Experience with financial evaluation, budget setting, and P&L control
  • Demonstrable Sales team leadership where you have trained, developed, lead, and enhanced a team
  • The ability to adopt a straight forward, involved, engaging, and pragmatic approach

What's on Offer

  • Base salary of $190,000 - $230,000 USD
  • Average OTE $300,000-$350,000 USD
