Description
- Facilitate Business Unit S&OP processes for business unit or entire site, provide direction to demand, supply, NPI, financial integration steps
- Lead effort and provide directions on achieving high material availability while minimizing raw materials inventory level
- Manage planning of all new product launches and planning of product transfers to/from other manufacturing sites
- Establish vision, strategy, and metrics for Planning, Purchasing, and Material Handling Departments
- Develop process to monitor and prioritize lots throughout the supply chain, coordinating efforts to prioritize production and supply chain activities
- Create and achieve Purchase Price Variance, Cost Improvement Project goals
- Manage warehouses and stores areas in multiple manufacturing/packaging locations
- Manage direct and indirect materials for manufacturing activities, as well as materials for packaging/labeling activities.
- Monitors processes for opportunities to improve safety and efficiency
- Continuously improve cycle-counting processes that ensure inventory accuracy and are in accordance to corporate requirements
The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years experience managing supply chain teams
- Experience Managing staff
- Experience with large scale ERP (Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, etc)
- Experience with EOL (End of Life) changes
- Experience with high mix/low volume
- Business Planning, Financial management, Inventory management and optimization, Capacity planning
- Purchasing and negotiation skills
