Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, cycle counting, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Utilize ERP systems to monitor inventory levels, process transactions, and generate performance reports.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse layout, material handling, and workflow optimization.
  • Lead, train, and develop team members to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to meet delivery commitments and resolve issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and WMS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
