About Our Client

Michael Page have partnered with a well established and growing production and Build to rent homebuilder within the Texas market focusing on projects $$400k+ in value and have a healthy pipeline of projects throughout the next 3 years. Our client is looking for a Division president for their new Dallas operations to lead multiple projects throughout the market and manage over the entire Construction and operations team. The Division president will be focused on a growing portfolio of ground up production homes in Dallas, TX

Job Description

The Division president will be responsible for leading the firms proposed growth plans as well as being solely responsible for all Project Management,Team Management, Scheduling, Sub Contractor Management and new process implementation. Alongside this your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Lead all ground up construction projects from planning, scheduling, design and construction
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Determine labor requirements and works with field personnel and purchasing to meet objectives.
  • Manages the new home starts process to ensure delivery of permits to meet the business plan
  • Collaborate with the corporate team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government officials,
    contractors, and real estate professionals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including land acquisition, construction, sales, and customer service.
  • Implement efficient processes to streamline operations and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines for home construction

The Successful Applicant

The Division President must have a significant track record of Construction Management and team management positions and had experience of leading teams of Superintendents and Project Managers. Alongside this the successful candidate must have

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Related Degree
  • 15 years (minimum) of Construction Department Management - Ideally from production or Town home backgrounds
  • 5 Years in a VP of Construction and operations position leading teams of 40+ professionals
    Experience of Ground Up Production and / Or Town Home construction projects
  • Solid Construction Planning Scheduling and Project Management experience
  • Track record of process improvement, (On-site and Operational Processes

  • Base Salary of $175,000 - 240,000
