  • Review construction documents, project submittals, product information and related materials to produce coordinated production drawings for factory use
  • Interface with external design and construction professionals to clarify and/or confirm information provided in materials listed above
  • Interface with internal team members, including project management, operations management, estimating and procurement staff to produce a complete and coordinated set of production drawings
  • Develops solutions to technical and design problems based on fabrication methods and practices
  • Follows established procedures and protocols for production drawings
  • Assures document standards are met and archives documents appropriately

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or Drafting
  • Proficiency with Revit
  • Knowledge of commercial construction techniques, construction documents, and review processes
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with design, engineering, and construction professionals
  • Experience with StrucSoft MWF for wood frame construction
  • Familiarity with current standards in multi-family housing design and construction practices
  • Strong interest in process and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Modular design or construction
  • Self-motivated with a desire for completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong attention to detail while completing tasks within an established schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products a plus (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
