The national contract manufacturer focused in the development of electro-mechanical devices for the health-care industry. The organization has been rapidly growing for just over 20 years and established 11 different locations across several different states. The focus in the electrical manufacturing space has grown the organization to over 400 employees and will continue to build their book of business.

Job Description

The Process Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Participate in DFM analysis for new products
  • Design and plan equipment layout
  • Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Provide technical support for PCBA manufacturing processes
  • Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing
  • Review process documentation for accuracy and efficiency
  • Evaluate operator skill and suggest additional training if necessary
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

The successful Process Engineer will have MOST of what follows:

  • An associate degree in an Engineering discipline, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge base in electronic components.
  • 3+ years' experience working as a process engineer.
  • Experience with PCBA manufacturing
  • Preferred experience in an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Must be computer literate including MS Office.
