They emphasize innovation, speed, and employee development, offering a strong culture of training and internal advancement.Job DescriptionEHS Specialist Duties:Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.Provide guidance on confined space, LOTO, PPE, hazard communication, ergonomics, electrical safety, and industrial hygiene programs.Support reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance activities.Conduct facility inspections and audits; identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.Analyze data and trends and communicate findings to leadership for continuous improvement.Assist with incident investigations and create accurate documentation.Maintain OSHA logs and calculate TRIR for all facilities.Perform job hazard assessments and collaborate on process/equipment changes.Track safety performance by business unit and benchmark against industry metrics.Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs.Review and approve MSDSs and maintain MSDSOnline system.Assist during external inspections and help prepare environmental compliance reports.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
