Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in aluminum processing and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies and contribute to reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, automation, and production to support operational goals.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
