Job Description

Some of the responsibilities for the successful Embedded C++ Software Engineer will include:

  • Contributing as an Embedded Software Engineer to help the design & development of new features into their current (and new!) medical devices & scientific instrument products
  • Act as a lead on the embedded software team - you will work closely with the Director of Software Engineering whilst also mentoring and conducting code reviews with a Software Engineer on the team
  • Collaborating with other departments across the organization, including the hardware engineering & laboratory teams
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the successful development and production of all devices

The Successful Applicant

The suitable Embedded C++ Software Engineer will have the following experience:

  • Embedded C++ development experience
  • Experience as a Software Engineer working on a medical device
  • Qt UI Framework experience
  • Embedded Linux
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA)
  • FDA Submissions experience is a plus
  • New product development experience
  • A Bachelors or Masters Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Science field
  • Clear communication - both written and verbal
