Job Description

  • Advise clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters within the professional services industry.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate compensation-related agreements and legal documents.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and compensation.
  • Assist with due diligence and benefits integration in corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting employee benefits and compensation.
  • Contribute to the development of client relationships and support business development efforts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits and executive compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
