Job Description

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns and workplace issues, documenting findings and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to develop and implement strategies for improving employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and related documentation.
  • Provide training and education to managers on employee relations best practices and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions to address root causes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations matters, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current on employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Employee Relations Specialist should have:

  • Bachelors degree (required).
  • 5+ years relevant Human Resources/Employee Relations experience (required).
  • A strong understanding of employee relations practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations and resolving workplace conflicts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced professional services environment.
