Job Description

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials.
  • Environmental Programs: Develop, implement, and manage environmental compliance programs and initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as required.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on environmental compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Support and promote sustainability initiatives within the organization to enhance environmental performance.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and manage environmental incidents, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken and reported.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Degree in; Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of combined experience in EHS/regulatory in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and any sort of environmental auditing is highly desirable
  • Air regulation and permitting experience, Title V highly desirable
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Federal/State EHS regulations
  • WWTP operator license 4M or higher or have capability to obtain it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
