With a commitment to sustainability, they have also invested in renewable energy initiatives, including a large-scale solar installation that helps power their operations.Job DescriptionThe Environmetal Speciliast, Aerospace / Electronics Manufacturing will:Manage environmental permits (NPDES/SPDES, bulk storage tanks, oil spill prevention, etc.)Oversee environmental compliance inspections, recordkeeping, and regulatory reportingAct as liaison with environmental agencies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain chemical inventory and hazardous waste management in accordance with RCRAOversee industrial wastewater treatment compliance and reportingLead environmental audits and support EHS initiativesDevelop and revise environmental policies and compliance programsPrepare and submit required environmental reports (Tier II, EPCRA TRI, RCRA, industrial waste discharge, etc.)Ensure compliance with air, water, waste, and hazardous material transportation (DOT) regulationsDrive compliance-driven projects, including evaluation, equipment selection, and training implementationSupport facility sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement effortsProvide training and guidance on environmental regulations and best practicesBe onsite at our Afton, NY facilityMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
