About Our Client

  • Our client, a $185M GC was started only 12 years ago and is projected to do over $200M in 2022.
  • Has 2 offices, one in Milwaukee and one in Wausau.
  • Have about 50 employees total.
  • Primary focus in on Commercial Construction between $2M - $50M. Also do work in Multi-family, Higher Ed, and TI Adaptive re-use.

Job Description

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Maintain open lines of communication within the department.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in a prudent and ethical manner.
  • Respond timely to customer issues.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service to clients. Anticipates and reacts to client requests and needs.
  • Communicate early with project team when outside factors may potentially affect deadlines.
  • Perform duties or task assigned by the Director of Preconstruction and Preconstruction Managers.
  • Be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the Company's interests in mind.
  • Speak at meetings.
  • Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Interface with the architects, engineers, subcontractors, developers, and city officials as necessary with specifications and
  • Develop preconstruction and construction schedules with Owner, Architect and Construction
  • Remain as the single individual responsible for the successful pricing of the projects.
  • Present and review bids with the Director of Preconstruction Services.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a High School GED equivalent and minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry with a background in estimating and/or project management.
  • Knowledgeable of tools needed to produce an accurate estimate or bid.
  • Knowledgeable in aspects of current construction means & methods including, but not limited to, scheduling, cost estimating, and project management.
