Job Description

  • Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, budgets, and pricing for all trades
  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposal packages including subcontractor pricing, schedules, and relevant experience
  • Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
  • Write detailed bid scopes and analyze contract documents
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, and designers throughout the preconstruction process
  • Identify scope gaps, potential risks, and value-engineering options
  • Manage documentation including RFIs, addenda, and design changes

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating (interiors preferred)
  • Experience with interiors in corporate, law firm, amenity, or similar spaces
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering-or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Excel, Planswift, MS Project, and Procore
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and ability to read construction drawings
  • Familiarity with DC subcontractor market
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
