Job Description

  • Manage the preparation and submission of detailed project estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost assessments.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project details.
  • Deliver accurate bid proposals within established timelines to support the bidding process.
  • Drive cost-saving strategies by identifying potential efficiencies and value engineering opportunities.
  • Operate estimation software and tools to streamline the estimating process and maintain organized records.
  • Review and validate estimates from junior estimators, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the estimating process to ensure alignment and transparency.

Experience



  • Proven background in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial or institutional projects


  • Familiarity with project management processes and construction methodologies
