Job Description

  • Evaluate project plans and documents to determine accurate cost estimates.
  • Develop detailed and competitive bids for construction projects.
  • Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Identify risks and include contingencies in estimates.
  • Monitor project budgets and adjust forecasts as needed.
  • Maintain records of cost-related data and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4+ years of construction experience
  • Conceptual estimating experience
  • Design/Build experience
  • Degree in a construction related field, or relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
