Job Description

Prepare detailed estimates for commercial projects across multiple sectors.
Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and other project documents.
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs across all major trades.
Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor proposals.
Develop clear scopes of work and pricing breakdowns.
Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction team members.
Assist in value engineering, budgeting, and cost‑saving strategies.
Maintain historical cost data, bid logs, and estimating documentation.
Ensure estimates are complete, competitive, and aligned with project goals.

The Successful Applicant

Experience estimating commercial construction projects (ground‑up and/or renovations).
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering documents.
Proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Must be local to the Atlanta area or within reasonable commuting distance.
