Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Monitor and update project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Maintain a database of historical cost information for reference and benchmarking.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve project outcomes.
  • Stay informed about market trends, material costs, and industry developments.
