Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsGrowing Commercial Construction company with diverse project pipelineGreat company culture Room to grow and advanceAbout Our ClientOur client is an established and growing Long Island based commercial GC with a business that is continuing to expand.Job DescriptionAnalyze project plans, specifications, and scope to determine project requirements.Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractor services.Issue and manage RFIs and RFPs to subcontractors and vendors.Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist with leveling proposals to ensure scope alignment.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of bids.Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and site visits as needed to assess project logistics.Track historical cost data and maintain up-to-date pricing databases.Assist with value engineering options when required to meet budget constraints.Prepare and submit competitive bid packages in accordance with public and private bid procedures.Maintain documentation for all estimates and support transition to project management team upon award.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
