Description

  • Manages the President's Calendar
  • Track President's Expenses.
  • Open and sort mail in the President's Office.
  • Track Daily Gift Report.
  • Serve as liaison with Development on gift acknowledgment letters from the President
  • Maintain the reception area.
  • Greet guests of the President.
  • Answer incoming calls to the President's Office.
  • Type President's correspondence.
  • Disseminate internal and external correspondence.
  • Handle filing of President's External Boards documents.
  • Maintain office supplies and stationery.
  • Process accounts payable for the Office of the President.
  • Maintain office petty cash.
  • Assist with President's Office hospitality when necessary.
  • Serves as a point person for logistics related to the President's residence 17. Maintain the telephone and appointment logs.
  • Assist with special projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • COMFORTABLE AND HAPPY TO COMMUTE INTO MANHATTAN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
  • EXTREMELY DETAIL ORIENTED AND PROACTIVE
  • Ability to think 10 steps ahead and schedule strategically
  • Experience with maintaining and exhibiting discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Experience supporting a C Level Executive or President before
  • Industry knowledge of Higher Education - working at a Non-Profit before
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage issues in a confidential nature
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 5 years of experience preferred
