Job Description

  • Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, CAO, and Board members by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and communications on behalf of the CEO and CAO to ensure timely follow-up and clarity.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining smooth and effective communication.
  • Draft, review, and revise correspondence, presentations, reports, and other materials for executive use and approval.
  • Plan and coordinate board meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant documents.
  • Assist with the execution of strategic initiatives by tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Lead and complete special projects as assigned, aligning outcomes with the organization's priorities.
  • Provide support for board-related functions, such as event coordination, documentation, and communication with board members.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience providing high-level executive support, ideally within a nonprofit setting.
  • Familiarity with New York City social services contracts is a plus.
