Job Description

The Executive Superintendent (Traveling) provides strategic field leadership across a broad geographic area, reporting into senior operational leadership.

  • Develop master schedules and lead complex logistics planning for major multifamily concrete projects
  • Support preconstruction teams with technical review, constructability insight, and risk identification
  • Mentor project teams, enabling learning moments while safeguarding project outcomes
  • Maintain high visibility across job sites, offering hands-on guidance and problem resolution
  • Elevate operational standards through coaching, collaboration, and clear communication
  • Partner with Project Managers as peers, fostering unified project execution
  • Represent the company's values and maintain strong relationships with long-standing clients

The Successful Applicant

For the Executive Superintendent (Traveling) we are seeking:

  • 25-30 years of construction experience, ideally with top-tier general contractors
  • Strong background in multifamily high-rise or mid-rise projects
  • Expertise in concrete frame structures (including hybrid systems)
  • Proven capability in schedule development, logistics planning, and preconstruction support
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without ego-confident, collaborative, and not authoritarian
  • Experience coaching teams and developing emerging leaders
  • Stable career progression (no jumpy profiles)
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must live within the central U.S. or be near a major airport
  • A true road‑warrior mindset; extensive national travel is essential

  • Base Salary: $180,000 - $230,000
  • Compensation Package: Bonus, deferred compensation, healthcare, 4 weeks PTO, company vehicle
