Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Job DescriptionResponsibilities Include, but not limited to the following:Facilitate and run EDI meetings to include Agenda, action items, minutes, etc. Report to VP of Operations on Progress of the EDI team.Initiate, research, and suggest any innovation and/or improvement to the rental fleet. Communicate the design changes to the Operations team to ensure drawings are updated and personnel understand the changes.Work closely with Operations team to develop relationships with key vendors including innovation, design and review.Participate in monthly Warranty and project reviews with the operations team to help identify common failures within the fleet.Work with engineering to ensure drawings are up to date and utilized for each build. Report all issues during the build process to engineering, ensure changes are reflected in drawings, and follow the EDI process.SafetyMaintain safety awareness and compliance at all times.Ensure the required PPE for each task is utilized and all Powerhouse safety rules are being followed.Attend weekly safety talks with production.Ensure Learning Link assignments are currentActive member in the Powerhouse safety programQualityMaintain Powerhouse quality standards and promote as a way of lifeIdentify and correct deficiencies with work completed both internally and externally.Complete final inspections of all work. Ensure all paperwork is complete and signed off (by both PC and CC). This can be either by you or PC quality department.Ensure all internally and externally produced builds have the proper code packages, pictures, and manuals in place.ProductionGeneral oversight of rental fleet production to ensure the builds are built to our design specifications.Ensure all rental units have a full set of drawings, BOM, spec sheets, and manuals once complete. Dedicate an engineer to oversee the build process to ensure a smooth and effective build process.Utilize the lean process to build faster, better, cheaper.Oversea the QA/QC programs for the R-Stamp programs in Delanco.Resolve and assist Accounts Payable with Invoice discrepancies.Quote at least 3 viable sources for materials goods and services and create a tracking sheet to compare quotes, lead times, etc.Conduct initial and periodic evaluations at each partner's site to ensure safety, quality, and Powerhouse standards are being met.Track and maintain Acknowledgements, Purchase orders, and schedules for all modules and external builds.EfficiencySet deadlines for vendors to complete projects/modulesSet Goal to have all Materials arrive just in time, at the vendor, prior to the start of a project/build.Responsible to keep Materials to each project so there is no work stoppage.Use Scheduling of People, Materials, and Equipment for Optimum EfficiencyManagementGeneral oversight of the engineering departmentComplete Weekly written report to the VP OperationsAttends Daily and weekly operations meetings as assigned.Delegate responsibilities to Administrative personnel as requiredAs part of your management training, you are required to take two classes per year pertaining to Production Management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
