We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a busy office environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and proactive, ensuring the workplace remains safe, functional, and efficient.
  • Temporary role - until end of year 2024.
  • Must be able to work in office Monday through Friday.

Job Description

  • Assist with general maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of office facilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, including equipment and furniture.
  • Set up and rearrange office spaces for meetings, events, and new employee orientations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform daily inspections to identify and resolve potential facility issues.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and mailroom activities as needed.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related requests from employees.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or office support role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or facility management software is a plus.
