The Federal Tax Manager is an essential person in supporting the various tax reporting and compliance areas that are under the team's responsibility. Will report to the VP of Tax Operations and assist with tax planning and transactional related assignments.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Assist in preparing year-end U.S. tax provisions, half-year reporting, federal taxable income forecasts, and quarterly estimated tax payments.
  • Help with the preparation and e-filling of U.S. consolidated tax returns, including necessary forms and schedules.
  • Review federal tax returns for US legal entities
  • Support tax planning and transactional assignments
  • Aid Senior Tax Managers with various projects.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation from an accredited institution
  • MS in Tax or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 only)
  • In depth knowledge of U.S. federal tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in tax preparation.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated and responsive to instructions.
  • Experience with Corptax
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Fixed Assets.
