Our client is a custom luxury home builder headquartered in Linden, NJ, operating with a lean team of approximately 15 seasoned professionals. Their project portfolio includes bespoke ground‑up homes and select high‑end renovations ranging from $500K to $3M. With revenue expected to jump from $2.5M to a projected $8M next year, the company is positioned for significant expansion-offering the right candidate an opportunity to join early and influence the organization's future.

Job Description

  • Oversee day‑to‑day progress on multiple custom home projects across Bergen and Union Counties (all within a ~45‑minute radius).
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site activities, and inspections to ensure precision and high‑quality craftsmanship.
  • Maintain Buildertrend project documentation, schedules, and updates (experience a plus).
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Serve as a client‑facing representative on site-communicating updates, resolving issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with a small internal team and wear multiple hats as needed in a lean, growth‑minded environment.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field (80% on‑site / 20% office).

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of construction experience, ideally with a GC or subcontractor background.
  • Hands‑on trade experience-especially carpentry or masonry-is highly valued due to the precision required for luxury homes.
  • A junior‑level, adaptable professional who is eager to learn, take initiative, and grow quickly.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple responsibilities across dynamic project sites.
  • Clear and confident communicator who enjoys client interaction.
  • Curious, reliable, humble, and driven-someone who wants to be part of building something meaningful.
