  • The candidate will sit within the Accounting and Finance department within the firm, ensuring quality financial reporting practices and assisting the team to perform regular quality assurance assessment of key business controls.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across multiple business areas, understand processes/workflows at various stages, identify potential enhancements to the financial reporting process.
  • Assist team lead to perform regular quality assurance assessments of various regulatory reports including testing of key business controls.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for more efficient reporting practices.
  • Review reporting and assess proper classification, in adherence with Fed report instructions.
  • Maintain issue log, monitor the remediation efforts by the production team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience in audit, regulatory control/reporting or quality assurance roles within financial services industry
  • Hands-on experience in regulatory report production, review or assessment is a plus
  • Knowledge of financial and banking products is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Microsoft applications, knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus
  • Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIA) is a plus
