About Our Client

I am partnered with a multi-billion dollar manufacturer who is expanding rapidly and has grown to over 100 autonomous manufacturing and service companies. One of their recent acquisitions has been a leading provider to the transportation/logistics industry and is also growing substantially! For this reason, they have identified the need for a highly motivated Finance & Accounting Manager to continue the upward projection of the company.

Job Description

  • Manages various accounting functions including monthly accounting close, ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, and fixed asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting
  • Manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury
  • Leads and develops professional accounting and support staff
  • Ensures all financial operations are in compliant with governmental rules and regulations and internal procedures
  • Provides guidance to internal stakeholders regarding financial reporting standards to ensure accurate, compliant, and useful reporting is produced
  • Oversees the budget/forecast process and works with operations to produce and manage effective budgets
  • Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting/finance processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations
  • Provides financial analysis and modeling for company ventures, capital projects, and other ad-hoc requests
  • Works with internal and external auditors to have satisfactory audits of our financials, policies, and procedures
  • Engage and leverage other departments in the company to accomplish joint projects or goals

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting
  • 1+ years of management experience preferred
  • Manufacturing background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting
  • Experience with Hyperion or Sage Intacct a plus
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
